Best Time to Visit Kenya
July to October: Peak safari season in many areas, with dry conditions and the usual window for Great Migration herds in the Maasai Mara. Exact river-crossing dates are never guaranteed.
January to March: Warm, generally dry weather and rewarding resident wildlife viewing. This is a strong period for combining safari with the coast.
November and December: Short rains revive the plains, often with clear spells between showers. Landscapes become greener and visitor numbers may be lower.
April to May: The long-rain period brings lush scenery, fewer vehicles and attractive value, although some camps close and road conditions can be challenging.
