Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the drive times between parks?
Expect 6–9 hours on the road on transfer days (Days 1, 3, and 4). If you dislike long drives, consider adding an extra night or booking domestic flights.
Can we fly between Bwindi and Murchison Falls instead of driving?
Yes. Scheduled domestic flights connect Entebbe, Bwindi (Kihihi), and Murchison Falls (Pakuba) to cut down travel time significantly.
How do I pack for both cool rainforests and hot savannahs?
Pack layers. Bring sturdy hiking boots and long layers for Bwindi’s cool rainforest trek, plus lightweight, breathable clothing for Murchison’s hot savannah.
